Innovating
Business

The skills to design, develop and deploy modern business applications. We hive code, we don't vibe code: a hive of senior software engineers, AI engineers and supervised AI agents on one backlog, with review gates that no generated line skips.

Hive code, not vibe code

Generation is cheap. Judgement, review and operability are not.

Anyone can prompt an application into existence this year. Keeping it secure, supportable and cheap to change is the job. So we put engineers at the front of the tooling rather than behind it: agents do the volume, humans own the architecture, and nothing reaches your estate without a named reviewer.

Technique

Spec-first agent work

Every agent task starts from an executable specification and acceptance tests, so output is checkable rather than plausible.

Technique

Context over cleverness

Codebase, schemas, standards and runbooks are wired into the tooling through MCP, so the agent works with your reality, not a guess at it.

Technique

Provenance on every change

Signed commits, SBOMs and an audit trail that records which changes were machine-drafted and who approved them.

Technique

Operability designed in

Telemetry, feature flags and rollback paths land with the first release, not after the first incident.

What we build

Applications that carry real load and real rules

  • Line-of-business platforms. Case management, operations and workflow systems where the process is the product.
  • Customer-facing web and mobile. Accessible to WCAG 2.2 AA, fast on the devices your users actually hold.
  • Integration and API estates. Event-driven backbones, contract tests and versioning that let teams ship independently.
  • Agentic features inside your product. Retrieval, tool use and evaluation harnesses, shipped behind the same quality gates as everything else.
  • Legacy modernisation. Strangler-fig migrations that keep the lights on while the old system is retired in slices.

Where the pace actually comes from

Week one

Environments, pipeline, telemetry and the first thin slice in a private alpha. No three-month mobilisation.

Every sprint

Working software in front of real users, with research findings attached to the increment that caused them.

At handover

Your engineers hold the keys: documented architecture, runbooks, tests, and the agent workflows we used to get there.
