About
Nav Bahl founded Rothian in 2018 and leads its UK and UAE companies as Managing Director. His work is brokering known-good talent against the demands that are hardest to staff for — growth and sustainability — and the firm runs on the argument he makes for it: fresh thinking in place of stale methodology, agility in place of scale, and capability in place of resources.
He came to it from three decades in industry and consulting. He spent his first decade at the UK Ministry of Defence, founded a cyber start-up that was later acquired by HP, and worked at Cisco and British Telecom on the rollout of the UK’s internet and broadband infrastructure.
He joined KPMG in 2001, made partner in its IT Advisory practice and became Global COO of a unit of more than 7,500 technology practitioners with revenues above $1 billion — building the firm’s global capabilities in digital, data, cyber and cloud, and establishing its technology delivery centres. In 2013 Petrofac, by then a client, brought him in as Chief Information Officer, where he consolidated a federated IT function of around 500 staff into a single operation and led one of the largest public cloud migrations in the Middle East of its time.
